The TC Chairman Orumba South LGA, Prince Neville Uchendu, has expressed condolences to the Okwuosa family of Okpuno Otolo Nnewi over the passing of their patriarch, Mr. Robert C. Okwuosa. Prince Uchendu described the late Robert Okwuosa as a person of unwavering integrity and a diligent individual who made significant contributions to his community. A dedicated community leader who stood out as a fervent advocate for peace, leaving a lasting impact on those privileged to know him.

Prince Uchendu emphasized that the void left by Robert Okwuosa's love and sagacious advice would be profoundly felt. He prayed that God would strengthen the family and grant them the fortitude to bear this profound loss.

The son of the deceased, AMB. Onyedika Chibieze Okwuosa (Nnewi First Son), stated that his father's life resonated with generosity, kindness, dignity, and love. He described him as a selfless giver who prioritized others over himself, embodying boldness and championing the defenseless. Amb Onyedika expressed his deep appreciation, saying, "You are a father and will always remain a father to me."

Mrs. Amaka Ozoenwu, the daughter, described her father as a beacon of uncommon love, kindness, and humility. She highlighted how he made simple moments monumental, creating a legacy that transcends generations. A guiding hand that shaped their personalities with cultural and moral values, providing emotional and spiritual nourishment.

She added, "He was a community pillar, volunteering and helping neighborurs, making him a father figure to many people. His humility and resilience turned life's challenges into stepping stones for a life filled with charisma and substance. True son of Anaedo, silent achiever, home builder, brother's keeper, and peacemaker. Rest in peace," she said.

The late Robert Okwuosa, fondly called Mercy-Mama (Ujanwulu), aged 76, lived by the mantra, "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" (John 8:32). He will always be remembered as a man of truth and peace. An astute businessman, God-fearing and upright, until his death, he was a prominent member of St. Thomas Anglican Church, Okpuno Otolo Nnewi. A lover of sports, he coached the youth fellowship in football during his youthful days and later the Anglican Men Association. He was also a patron of the church brigade.
