The Orumba South Welfare Association (OSWA) Abuja/Suleja Chapter has commended the Transition Committee Chairman of Orumba South LGA, Prince Neville Uchendu, describing him as a dedicated leader on a mission to transform the local government area. The association expressed its admiration for Uchendu's sincere commitment to uplifting the council area, citing his visionary leadership.
The commendation was made
during a recent visit by an OSWA delegation, led by its President-General,
Comrade Nnamdi Obi, to Prince Uchendu at the council headquarters in Umunze.
The delegation conveyed their
gratitude to Prince Uchendu for honouring their invitation to the Orumba
South Welfare Association Day in September last year and for granting them the
privilege to participate in the Maiden Orumba South Stakeholders Summit.
Prince Uchendu acknowledged the
OSWA delegation's presence, advising them to leverage the OSWA platform to
project Orumba South to greater heights. He expressed gratitude for their
interest in the "Think Home" (Akulueuno) philosophy, pledged assistance
in any possible way, and encouraged the continuation of brotherly relations.
“I’m delighted at the success
you have recorded at OSWA, the association is pride of Orumba South in diaspora
and I encourage you not to relent with this noble cause that has brought so much good
tidings to us. Orumba South is flourishing and collectively with our efforts
will continue to flourish,’’ said Prince Uchendu.
Comrade Nnamdi Obi, commended Governor
Chukwuma Soludo's visionary leadership, in his commendation of Governor Soludo's
visionary leadership, declared his support for the governor's second term. He
emphasized that Governor Soludo's vision for a new Anambra aligns with OSWA's
goals, reflecting a shared belief in the potential for significant advancements
and improvements under his leadership.
"This endorsement is not
merely a symbolic gesture but signifies a strong conviction in the governor's
capacity to sustain and further enhance the positive changes initiated during
his first term," Comrade Obi affirmed.
Comrade Obi described Prince
Uchendu as a catalyst for positive change, commended his commitment to
substantive and meaningful transformations within Orumba South.
He appreciated Prince Uchendu
for introducing the Akulueno philosophy to them during his visit to them last september, which he said is yielding fruits with plans from a member of the OSWA to
establish a polythene factory in Orumba South.
He expressed appreciation for
the privilege granted by Prince Uchendu to participate in the Maiden Orumba
South Stakeholders Summit, acknowledging the importance of community input in
shaping the development agenda.
Describing the summit as a
welcome development, Comrade Obi highlighted its potential to significantly
encourage development and foster a sense of brotherliness within the communities among the communities in the council area.
The association's treasurer,
Chief Alex Nkwo, echoed similar sentiment, stating that Prince Uchendu has
changed the leadership narrative for good in Orumba South. Chief Nkwo
appreciated the chairman for the positive changes observed in the local
government, considering it a testament to the ongoing transformation.

Secretary-General, Chika Mbaoma
expressed her delight at the maiden Orumba South Stakeholder Summit,
acknowledging its potential to benefit the ndi Orumba South. Her positive
response reflects optimism and anticipation for positive outcomes stemming from
the event. She urged ndi Orumba South to give maximum support to Prince Uchendu
to accelerate the development agenda of the council area.
