Kenyan musician, Michael Macharia Njiri, also known as DJ Brownskin, has come under fire after a video surfaced online showing him filming his wife, Sharon Njeri Mwangi, as she drank poison and died in front of their children.
Mwangi passed away in July last year, and the
video was shared online several months later.
In the video, DJ Brownskin can be seen
goading his wife to drink the poisonous substance as he recorded her final
moments.
After consuming the poison, Mwangi lowered
herself onto a cushion, writhing in pain as her husband made no effort to get
help for her.
One of
their children later handed Mwangi a cup of milk, but sadly, she died.
Kenyans have since taken to Twitter to call
out DJ Brownskin, describing his actions as "devilish" and
questioning how he could attend his wife's burial after watching her die
without doing anything to save her.
