Majek Fashek's cousin and former bandmate, Amos McRoy, who is now a pastor at Seed of Abraham International Christian Centre, gave an exclusive interview to Musa Jibril of Entertainment Express newspaper.

Only a few people could said to know the late music icon better than McRoy.

McRoy provided an in-depth insight into the fall of the late music icon, Majek Fashek, and how his adventure into Spiritism affected his craft and person.

McRoy revealed that Majek’s problem was not drug-related, but spiritual, and that he strayed into spiritism stating that Majek’s weird manifestations began in 1991-2.

According to McRoy, Majek's success with the song "Send Down The Rain" was backed by a spiritual force.

McRoy said that Majek crossed the line after the release of Prisoner of Conscience, and went into spiritism at a rapid pace without being properly schooled.
