CEO Neros Pharmaceuticals Unveils Books

Four books written by a renowned businessman, Prof Poly Emenike, the Managing Director cum Chief Executive Officer, Neros Pharmaceutical Limited were on Tuesday presented to the public.

The memorable book presentation held at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, Victoria Island, Lagos, was graced by eminent personalities including former Governor of Anambra State and Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Mr Peter Obi.

The books titled; The Mental Emancipation: How to Control Your Conscious Minds for Effective Performance, Shrines as Arbiters: Is Reverse the Case of Christianity in Igboland, The Economic Trajectories of the Igbos After Nigeria-Biafra Civil War: My Personal Perspective and 15 Writing Principles on How to Be a Celebrated Author, were published by Entrepreneurial Spirits Publishing Company Ltd.

In his remarks, the Chairman of the occasion, former Group Managing Director of Diamond Bank, Mr. Emeka Onwuka, described Prof Emenike as a philanthropist who lived a life of determination, self-discipline, conviction and commitment.

Mr. Onwuka said that Prof Emenike’s life trajectory and inspiring success story were what he documented into books.

The former Group Managing Director of Diamond Bank, informed that Prof Emenike is a recipient of the Napoleon Hill Foundation Gold Medal Award and Plague, becoming the fourth person to be bestowed with the Award.

in his speech Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Mr Peter Obi, stressed the need for people to document their life experiences and stories so as to educate others.

Mr. Obi said that corruption should be eschewed to make the country a better place.

He commended Prof Emenike for putting down his life trajectories in writing so as to educate people.

Reviewing the book, Managing Director cum Editor-in-Chief, Sun Newspapers, Mr Onuoha Ukeh, said that three of the books dwelt on the author’s life experiences and business successes.

Commenting on The Mental Emancipation: How to Control your Conscious and Subconscious Minds for Effective Performance, Mr. Ukeh said the book has 256 pages with nineteen chapters. According to him the book emphasizes the need to obstruct negative thoughts while encouraging positive thoughts, self-confidence and think tanking daily as integral parts of the decision-making process for success. Mr Ukeh said the book is anchored on two pedestals- the conscious and subconscious.

Reviewing Shrines as Arbiters: Is Reverse the Case of Christianity in Igboland, Mr.  Ukeh informed that the book of 224 with twelve chapters exposes certain ills and abnormalities that exist in Igboland such as worshipping deities to get rich rather than turning to God.

The Economic Trajectories of the Igbos After- Biafra Civil War: My Personal Perspective, the MD/Editor-in-Chief of Sun Newspaper informed that the book has 206 pages and captures the resilient ways Igbos began their entrepreneurial skills and got to the peak. The book also underscored the importance of the “Nwa boi “apprenticeship in Igboland.

Reviewing the last book for the day which was 15 Writing Principles on How to be a Celebrated Author with 136 pages, Mr. Ukeh said that the author underscored the importance of reading and the need for every professional to constantly put his thoughts in writing for posterity.

While saying that Prof Emenike has written 17 books and translated into Spanish, French and Portuguese languages, Mr, Ukeh commended the author for documenting his life experiences.

In his speech the author of the books and Chief Executive Officer, Neros Pharmaceuticals, Prof Emenike, stated that the books are called quadruplets because they were written at the same time.

While reaffirming being a recipient of Napoleon Hill Award, Prof Emenike informed that he is the only survivor of the prestigious Award.

He encouraged everyone to engage in the act of writing irrespective of age and educational background.
