All roads lead to Dominion City, Awka Region, as it prepares to host the highly anticipated 2nd edition of the Women's Convention, themed "The Outpouring of the Spirit". This milestone event, scheduled for Thursday, August 22nd to Sunday, August 25th, marks a significant step forward in the region's growth and impact, following its assumption of Regional Status in 2023.
The four-day convention
promises to be a powerful gathering of women from across the region, featuring
inspiring messages from renowned speakers, including Pastor Uju Kpongo and
Pastor Happiness Daniel Eze. The event aims to empower women to tap into the
outpouring of the Holy Spirit, equipping them to fulfill their purpose and
destiny.
The convention will feature
morning sessions at 8am and evening sessions at 5pm, with a special
thanksgiving service on Sunday to wrap up the program.
According to Pastor Ify
Obiekwe, wife of the Regional Pastor and host of the convention, "We are
thrilled to host this pivotal moment for the women of our region. Our theme
speaks directly to our desire for a fresh infusion of God's power and presence
in our lives. We expect an outpouring of the Spirit that will empower, equip,
and transform our lives."
Thousands of women from Awka and beyond are expected to attend, seeking spiritual rejuvenation, fellowship, and inspiration. The event promises to be a life-changing experience, with free medical services and shopping available to attendees.
