Bright Ben, a bewildered man, took to social media to make a startling accusation against his pastor, Pastor Moses Adeeyo, who also serves as the General Overseer of World Bank Assembly.
Ben alleged that the pastor
"snatched" his wife, Mrs. Tina Bright nee Everest. This revelation,
shared on Facebook by Ben, unfolded a tale of betrayal and marital discord.
Residing in Port Harcourt, Ben
claimed that he and his wife, Tina, were full financial members of the World
Bank Assembly, where Pastor Moses Adeeyo serves as the General Overseer.
According to Ben, Pastor Adeeyo
had been a source of support for them in the past, helping them navigate
through family issues. However, the shocking revelation came when Ben
discovered that the pastor was allegedly behind the changes in his wife's
behavior.
Ben asserted that the trouble
began after Tina received what he referred to as an 'appointment'.
Subsequently, she quietly moved out of their home with their children.
This abrupt departure left Ben
searching for answers, prompting him to reach out to Pastor Adeeyo for advice
on the matter. To Ben’s dismay, he claimed to have found out about Tina’s
whereabouts through pictures circulated online.
These images purportedly
depicted Pastor Adeeyo’s marriage to Tina, leaving Ben in a state of shock and
betrayal. The Facebook post does not delve into specific details of the alleged
affair or the circumstances leading up to Tina’s departure. However, it painted
a vivid picture of the emotional turmoil experienced by Ben, who believed
Pastor Adeeyo was a trusted figure in their lives.
In his words; "ADULTERY. .
. As shameful as it sounds, it is a true life story. MY PASTOR MARRIED MY WIFE.
I've been married to Mrs. Tina Bright for over 12 years with 2 kids, a girl and
a boy. I married her traditionally and white wedding and took her to introduce
to my Pastor Moses Adeeyo," he wrote.
"The General Overseer of
World Bank Assembly in Eneka, Obio/Akpor LGA, Rivers State; We started
attending the church and became full financial members.
"My wife was given an
immediate appointment seven months ago, she moved out of the house with our two
kids before I got back from work. I searched everywhere and called everyone
even the G. O. Unknown to me, he was the architect of my problems. After some
time he stopped picking my calls and blocked my phone line. I've been looking
for her until I saw these pictures yesterday online.
"He claimed that the Holy
Spirit told him that she is his wife. Is the Holy Spirit an author of
confusion? My wife of 12 years is now his. Please, couples, be careful about
World Bank Assembly; be careful of Pastor MOSES ADEEYO."
In another revelation, Tina
Bright nee Everest, the woman, addressed the reasons behind her decision to
leave her husband of 11 years, Bright Ben, and marry Pastor Moses Adeeyo, the
General Overseer of World Bank Assembly.
Tina shared her account in a
video posted online, asserting that she departed from her marriage due to
alleged torture and inhumane treatment, emphasizing her right to remarry.
Tina defended her choice,
stating, "I have the right to marry whoever I want to, if I have found
love with anybody, it is my life, not any other person’s life. Leave Pastor
Moses Adeeyo out of this. He is innocent; tell Bright to come and face
me."
She claimed to possess evidence
of threats from her estranged husband and accused him of not taking
responsibility for her well-being throughout their 11-year marriage.
According to Tina, her
separation from Bright occurred several months before she encountered Pastor
Adeeyo, who she asserted had brought joy into her life.
In an attempt to exonerate
Pastor Adeeyo, Tina advised women facing maltreatment in their marriages to
prioritize their safety and leave such relationships. She elaborated on her
troubled marriage, alleging that Bright not only physically abused her but also
failed to contribute to her financial support over the years.
Tina disclosed borrowing money
for Bright, including funding his children’s school fees, a debt that she
claimed Pastor Adeeyo was now helping to repay.
Tina recounted instances of
mistreatment by her estranged husband, such as forcing her to change her church
and accusing her of infidelity during the pandemic.
She asserted that Bright had
proclaimed there was no marriage between them and had labeled her as a burden,
making her life miserable.
Contrary to accusations of
infidelity, Tina clarified that she moved to her mother’s house in November
2020, a period during which she claimed Pastor Adeeyo was not in the picture.
She accused Bright of attempting to tarnish an innocent man’s reputation by
going public with their marital issues.
The situation gained public
attention when Bright Ben accused Pastor Adeeyo of "snatching" his
wife in a social media post. Bright claimed to have discovered photographs of
the pastor and Tina, now married, after seeking assistance from him during
marital troubles.
