In the escalating contest for the 2025 Anambra governorship, Hon. Ossy Onuko, Convener of Soludo Ambassadors and MD/CEO of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA), unequivocally declares that Ndi Anambra has unequivocally chosen Governor Soludo as their leader, citing his unmatched prowess and the absence of credible rivals in the upcoming polls.
In a press release yesterday in
Awka, Onuko, a key figure in Soludo's support network, emphasized the governor's
unchallenged dominance in Anambra's political landscape, predicting inevitable
defeats for any opponents daring to challenge Soludo's popularity and
governance achievements.
Onuko asserted that despite
Soludo's focus not being on re-election yet, the indicators and records
undeniably affirm his likely victory in Nnewi, a stronghold of Senator Ifeanyi
Uba. He dismissed Uba's challenge as a mere popularity test, emphasizing that
Soludo's political acumen would secure a decisive win.
Highlighting the impactful
strides of Governor Soludo's administration over two years, Onuko pointed out
significant achievements in security, law and order, infrastructure, and human
capital development. These accomplishments, he believes, lay the groundwork for
positive economic transformation, setting a new governance standard not just
for Anambra but for Nigeria as a whole.
On the topic of encouraging
Soludo to declare his reelection bid, Onuko expressed the people's belief that
continuity is crucial to building upon the initial gains made in the first four
years. He emphasized the state's elevation in politics, urging against
unnecessary distractions.
"If you examine the five
pillars of his administration and the state agenda, you will acknowledge
Governor Soludo's remarkable accomplishments. It is imperative to recognize his
commitment to progress, securing a prosperous homeland for Ndi Anambra and a
brighter future for all," stated Onuko.
Closing with a declaration of
Soludo's inevitable second term, Onuko welcomed challengers but firmly
asserted, "There is no vacancy in Agu Awka come 2025." He urged those
testing their popularity to proceed with caution, avoiding actions that could
distract the governor through personal attacks and unlawful approaches.
