DSS ‘arrests’ UK-Based Nigerian Pastor at Lagos Airport

Apostle Tomi Arayomi, the founder of RIG Nation and Pioneer Church in the UK, has reportedly been arrested by operatives of the Department of State Service (DSS) in Nigeria.

The news was confirmed by his twin brother, Tobi Arayomi, through an Instagram post around 12 noon.

According to Tobi, Tomi was apprehended for allegedly making politics-related prophecies that have troubled the Nigerian government.

He stated in his Instagram post, "He [Tomi] just arrived in Lagos and they detained him at the airport. He is politically targeted because some of his prophetic words have troubled the government in Nigeria."

Tomi Arayomi had been making predictions about the 2023 Nigerian elections and their outcomes.

According to The Whistler, when it reached out to the DSS spokesperson, Peter Afunnaya, for comment on the arrest, he said, “Why don’t you call the Pastor, pls.”

However, a few minutes later, Tobi posted a photo of Tomi and his wife on Instagram, stating that they had been released from custody.

Tobi stated, “@tomiarayomi and @tahmar.india are out. Thank you all for your prayers.”
