Don Jazzy, the popular Nigerian music producer, has stunned one of his fans who happens to be a student.
He gave a cash gift of N500,000 to the
student who approached him about his school problems.
The student had sent a message to Mavin
Records’ CEO, explaining how difficult school had gotten and how they were
feeling overwhelmed by the issues they were encountering.
The unnamed pupil had expressed the need for
Don Jazzy to give them a “big hug” because they were near their breaking point.
The student wrote; ‘“Currently going through
it at school. I’m almost at my breaking point with literally everything. I need
a big hug.”
Don Jazzy responded by expressing his
sympathies and commiserating with the pupil. Then he inquired as to whether a
payment of N500,000 would be adequate for a virtual “hug” from him.
He also told the student that if he thought
the payment was fair, he should provide their bank details.
