The Managing Director of the Anambra State Civic and Social Reformation Office (ANCISRO), Sir Chuka Nnabuife, has called for renewed commitment to law, order, and civic responsibilities to foster a livable and prosperous Anambra State.
Speaking
during an Outreach Programme/End of the Year Event of the agency, themed
"Reforming Our Society Through Civic Responsibility," held at its
corporate headquarters in Awka, Nnabuife lamented the decline in communal
values, warning of its societal consequences, including criminal activities and
alienation.
Sir Nnabuife highlighted the decay of civic values as a significant threat to societal development. He stressed that adherence to cultural norms and civic duties is essential for preserving the moral fabric of society. "If we do not actively work towards rebuilding our collective sense of responsibility, we risk further deterioration of law and order, which could undermine the progress we seek in Anambra," he stated.
He underscored
ANCISRO’s pivotal role in reorienting the mindset of Anambra residents,
aligning with Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo’s vision of transforming the
state into a model of lawfulness, orderliness, and shared prosperity. He
emphasized the agency’s focus on promoting indigenous languages, cultural
pride, and civic consciousness, and affirmed ANCISRO’s commitment to reshaping
the values of Ndi Anambra through education and mobilization to make the state
livable and prosperous.

renaissance and fostering discipline, patriotism, and civic engagement.
Guest

values of hard work, integrity, and respect, emphasizing their critical role in
fostering societal development. He lauded Governor Soludo’s free education
policy, describing it as a transformative initiative to address the unique
challenges arising from the state’s strategic position as a crossroads for
neighboring communities. “Anambra’s unique positioning presents both
opportunities and challenges,” he remarked. “To achieve lasting prosperity, we
must embrace our shared values and ensure they are reflected in our everyday
lives.”

Christmas season, describing it as a time for reconciliation, generosity, and
goodwill. He encouraged citizens to use the festive period as an opportunity to
