Speaking to the ABS in Awka regarding a recent fabricated audio by one Mr. Chinedu Okadigbo of the People's Democratic Party, which falsely aligned him with the party, Mr. Onwuemene expressed shock at the level of desperation some individuals’ exhibit to achieve their unholy desires.

He maintained that he has not met the said Okadigbo recently, nor does he have anything to do with the said party, stating that Awka North Local Government Area is strictly APGA territory. Mr. Onwuemene advised the public, especially the good people of Awka North Local Government Area, as well as APGA members from the national level, led by Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, down to the wards, to disregard the audio from Mr. Okadigbo, whom he described as someone chasing shadows.

According to the State SASA Director, he is committed to supporting the administration of Governor Chukwuma Soludo, whom he described as a game changer who has brought unprecedented human and infrastructural development to the state.
