Chelsea winger, Raheem Sterling, will demand a multi-million payoff from the club before leaving this summer.
Sterling is set to leave
Stamford Bridge this summer after being frozen out by new manager, Enzo
Maresca.
However, the England
international has three years left on the contract when he joined from
Manchester City.
Sterling is believed to be on a
deal worth £325,000 a week, according to transfer expert, David Orstein.
“There are talks between
himself and the club hierarchy over what to do. There are three years left on
his contract that is in excess of £325,000 a week.
“So what Chelsea owe him runs
into the 10s of millions of pounds, and I think Raheem Sterling’s priority is
to settle that before deciding where he might like to go,” Ornstein said on NBC
Sports.
