The Commander of the Dobe Awka Ocha Enforcement Team, Prince Ikechukwu H. Ndigwe, has called on residents of Awka, especially eligible voters, to throw their support behind Prince Chinedu Okafor in the upcoming Awka South Local Government Area (LGA) election.  

Prince Ndigwe emphasized the importance of electing Okafor as the Chairman to continue the progress made in improving the Awka Capital City.

            

In a statement released yesterday in Awka, Prince Ndigwe urged the community, party faithful, and stakeholders of the All Soludo Support Group (ASSG) to ensure that Prince Chinedu Okafor secures a decisive victory in the election scheduled for September 28th, 2024. He highlighted that Okafor's election would not only solidify the gains achieved so far but also ensure the continuity of initiatives aimed at further developing the area.

Prince Ndigwe, who also serves as the Local Government Coordinator for the Soludo Solution (SS) 2021/2025 initiative and the Treasurer of ASSG in Awka South, stressed that his call to action is rooted in the exceptional performance of Prince Okafor during his brief tenure in office. According to Ndigwe, no serving Local Government Chairman or Transition Committee (TC) member has initiated community engagement programs at the level that Okafor has.

                   

He expressed gratitude to the people of Awka for their unwavering support of Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo's administration. He noted that casting a vote for Prince Chinedu Okafor as the Executive Chairman of Awka South is a vote for the continuation of the Solution Agenda, which is focused on advancing the development of the Awka Capital Territory.

In addition to endorsing Okafor, Prince Ndigwe also praised Governor Soludo for his significant achievements in the state. He commended the leadership of the ASSG, particularly Hon. Chinedu Nwoye (Glamour), for their credible leadership and direction. Prince Ndigwe affirmed that the ASSG stands firmly behind Prince Chinedu Okafor as the election approaches, recognizing his leadership as crucial for the sustained progress of the community.
