Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, has maintained that he won’t allow the club’s bosses to sign any player that would not be useful to him.
The Italian said this to assert
his involvement in the club’s transfers business this summer.
Chelsea are selling off some of
their top players this summer and are bringing in some new legs.
Some of the Blues’ transfer
decisions have been criticised by market experts but the Italian said he is
fully involved in such decisions.
“How can I accept a player that
doesn’t fit into the idea I want to play?” He told the media on Monday night,
according to Fabrizio Romano.
“I don’t think there is any
manager in the world not involved in decisions.
“The squad is very good but if
there is a chance to do more, we will do”.
