The
heartwarming event, which was a huge success, saw an overwhelming turnout of marketers,
business owners, artisans, and stakeholders. They stormed the meeting arena
with chants of "We will follow Soludo, whether he is going forward or
coming back!" This demonstrated their love for the Ace Anambra State
Governor. The event took place at the Mgbuka Obosi Prayer Ground in Idemili
North LGA of Anambra State.
In a
welcome address, the Chairman of the Old Motor Spare Parts, Mgbuka Obosi, Chief
Ifurunwa Samuel (Igwe), who spoke through his Public Relations Officer, Hon.
Joel Okafor, effusively appreciated the SSG National Executives for their
enthusiastic response. According to him, this is a testament to their absolute
commitment to spreading the gospel of Governor Soludo's giant strides.
Hon.
Okafor went further to commend the administration of Prof. Soludo for its
credible performance across the state, particularly in Idemili North LGA. He
assured the SSG leadership of 100 percent votes in the upcoming elections from
their chapter, which has the highest population of responsible and productive
youths.
He also
reaffirmed their unwavering commitment and support for the reelection bid of
Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo. He advised other intending contestants for the
governorship position to save their strength, reiterating their stance on Governor
Soludo as the next governor of the state after the 2025 elections. He stated
that Soludo has proved himself worthy of another tenure by achieving in two
years what other governors could not achieve in eight years.
The
Convener and National Coordinator of Soludo Support Group SSG, who is also the
Deputy Chief of Staff and Chief Protocol to Governor Soludo, Hon. Chinedu Nwoye
(Glamour), while inaugurating the chapter, applauded the dynamic and pragmatic
market leaders for the proper planning of the market. He noted its capacity to
accommodate the free flow of both human and vehicle movement.
According to him, the several remarkable strides of Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo across the state are a testament to the Governor's deliberate efforts to renew and facelift most urban areas, making them comparable to or even better than their counterparts in other states of the federation.
He made
it clear that the event was a deliberate and passionate effort by the market
leaders to identify with SSG and help promote the unprecedented achievements of
Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo's administration. This was in response to the
lies and fake news being peddled by mischief-makers and jealous opposition.
Hon.
Nwoye pointed out that the Governor is being attacked by fraudulent individuals
and mischievous opposition who prefer to pocket funds meant for developing and
transforming the state.
Hon.
Nwoye further stressed the need for the new chapter to prioritize supporting
Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo's administration. He emphasized that Soludo
genuinely has the interest of Ndi Anambra at heart, noting the Governor's drive
to encourage local production of goods and services to attract direct profit to
local manufacturers and boost state IGR by patronizing many made-in-Anambra,
Nigeria products. He urged the market leaders to match their words with actions
by disseminating the right information about the good work of the amiable
Anambra State Governor.
Also
speaking were the SSG Deputy National Coordinator, Chief Chiagozie Bath
Awugosi; the Anambra South SSG Zonal Coordinator, Chief Van George Ezeogidi
(Ijele Utuh); and Idemili North SSG Coordinator, Sir JCJ Onwuachu. They

business, and seized the opportunity to commend their unwavering commitment and
support. They also prayed for God to continue to bless their handiwork while
