- Visits AIG Zone 13

The new Commissioner of Police Anambra State Command, CP Nnaghe Obono Itam has addressed strategic officers at the Command Headquarters in Awka, outlining an action plan to enhance security service delivery in the state.
According to the command's
Spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga the CP urged officers to be more responsive
and committed to duty, directing the creation of training officers at the Area
Command level to retrain officers in police duties, musketry and other areas.
CP Itam also emphasized the
importance of collaborating with other security agencies for a well-coordinated
response to security incidents. He
charged officers to be proactive and dedicated to their responsibilities,
ensuring effective policing and community engagement.
Additionally, he paid a
courtesy visit to Assistant Inspector General of Police Zone 13 Headquarters,
AIG Godwin Aghaulor, to notify him of his assumption of office and familiarize
himself with senior officers in the Zone.
The visit was attended by
high-ranking officials, including Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of
Finance and Administration, DCP Agili Joseph, Deputy Commissioner of Police in
charge of Operations, DCP Sylvester Adeji, and Deputy Commissioner of Police in
charge of Criminal Investigations, DCP Iya Muhammed, among others.
