THE NATION EDITORIAL weighed in on the topical but utterly and wantonly needles issue of the position of LOCAL ADMINISTRATION (that was what it was realistically called in the 1963 Republican Constitution of the First Republic that contained the realistic principles of federal system of government. Sadly, it was thrown out by the misguided military misadventure which imposed the fraudulent, brazenly crafted and fundamentally flawed Military Decreed 1999 contraption referred to as a "Federal Constitution).
The
NATION EDITORIAL contented inter alia but very much biased.
"It
is good that the President has referred issues relating to funding the tier of
government to the Supreme Court that is a policy court. It is expected that the
apex court will expeditiously look into the letters and spirit of the
constitution in adjudicating the matter.
Nigeria needs to put a final seal on the
lingering dispute".
***My
comment:
Why
requesting the Supreme Court to intervene in the utterly and wantonly and
totally uncalled for cum needles controversy on the issue of THIRD TIER OF
GOVERNMENT WHICH IS A MONSTROUS ABERRATION IN A FEDERATION AS OBSERVED THE
WORLD OVER EVEN IN THE FIRST REPUBLIC IN NIGERIA?
The
issue of LOCAL ADMINISTRATION, as it had been referred to in the First Republic
is integral to the nationwide clarion calls for the immediate Restructuring of
the lopsided Federation so that the issue of LOCAL ADMINISTRATION should be
SOLELY the business of the State Governments (or Regional Governments if the
Six Geopolitical Zones should be accepted as the new Federating Units by a
constituted Constituent Assembly of selected representatives of ethnic
nationalities to fashion PEOPLE'S CONSTITUTION while dumping the military
Decreed fraudulent 1999 Constitution into the scrap heap of history.
Who is
really fooling whom in Nigeria which is being manipulated by the
"Hegemonic Caliphate Colonialists and Fulani Feudal Oligarchy who
stridently kicked against Restructuring the lopsided Federation with
decentralized security architecture as integral part. They don't want
decentralized security architecture because it would truncate their dream
Islamization agenda while the state governments will make laws banning open
grazing and compel cattle owners to purchase lands and establish ranches as
obtained in the West African countries in particular and the entire world in
general. Who is fooling whom?
