History has taught that it does not pay to live false life. The ferocious hordes of hell that possessed the British government to, without consulting the indigenous ethnic nationalities, to cobble the southern and northern protectorates to be called Nigeria, would not have been resting in the kingdom of darkness.
For more than 100 years now,
the tragic and monumental blunder of amalgamating people who had virtually
nothing in common, has been an incurable big sore and gangrene that has refused
to heal. The refusal of a section of the country to allow Rule of Law and
principles of federal system of government to prevail both in the First
Republic with realistic Federal Constitution and post Nigeria-Biafra civil war,
has eventually placed the country on the path of STONEY GOLGOTHA.
There is no (or can ever
be) meeting of minds between the ultra
conservative phalanx who gloat over the dysfunctional political arrangements
that enabled them to be doing whatever they fancy and the rest of other sections
that yearn for a return to the glorious days of the 1960 Independence
constitution where the respective ethnic nationalities developed at their own
pace with the system of security that guaranteed safety of people since
security remains the primary responsibility of government the world over. But
the phalanx don't want it because it would truncate the dream Islamization
agenda to wipe out other ethnic nationalities to practice the primitive
caliphate system of rulership.
The Labour unions extreme
exasperation to embark on warning strike, having exhausted all pragmatic
measures and plausible suggestions to ascertain that the Tinubu administration
would prove its seriousness in governing a heterogeneous society, shows that
the pregnancy of the abominable 1914 Amalgamation has delivered frightening
monster which cannot be caged.
However, as Christians are
approaching Easter which is to commemorate the Resurrection of our Lord and
Savior, Jesus Christ, the prayer point of the General Overseer of Mountain of
Fire and Miracles Ministries, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, might be applied to know if
it is still the Will of God for the country to reinvent itself through
immediate Restructuring of the lopsided Federation which remains the ONLY
panacea to destroy the destructive agenda of the ultra conservative phalanx.
The prayer point says:
"The greatest power that
the omnipotent God has manifested among mankind is the power of
resurrection". I pray that God will bring that amazing power to bear in
the corporate existence of Nigeria, in the name of Jesus.
This power raised Christ from
the dead and is available today to raise to life the dry bones that are dead in
the corporate existence of Nigeria, in Jesus name, Amen.
