ASWAMA Boss, Ozoemena, Galvanizes APGA Ward Two With Strategic Meeting Ahead Of 2025 Election, Welcome New Members

The Managing Director of Anambra State Waste Management Agency (ASWAMA), Mr. Mike Ozoemena, has organized a strategic meeting to form a united front for Awka South One Constituency ahead of the upcoming 2025 election.

The meeting, attended by representatives from all villages comprising Awka Ward Two, including Umuzocha, Amachala, Amudo, and Ifite, took place at his residence in Awka.  

                      

Its purpose was to inaugurate new members, encourage ward party leaders, and engage stakeholders in Ward Two and executive members from the 20 Wards in Awka South Council Area. The focus was on the necessity of maintaining the party as a strong platform for Igbo land's development.

During the meeting, Mr. Ozoemena, expressed gratitude to the Awka South TC Chairman, Ward Executives, and other Stakeholders for honoring the invitation.

               

He thanked Governor Soludo for the opportunity to serve in his cabinet, urging APGA Local Government Central Executives and Stakeholders to continue supporting the State Governor. Mr. Ozoemena affirmed his strong belief in the competence and capacity of Prof Chukwuma Soludo to deliver on campaign promises.

While highlighting the significant projects initiated by Soludo's administration in the State Capital, Mr. Ozoemena emphasized the importance of party loyalty to reap the benefits of membership.

                               

The Transition Committee Chairman of Awka South Council Area, Hon. ThankGod Anagor, expressed satisfaction with the new members, noting that the occasion signifies the increasing understanding and willingness of well-meaning individuals to support the present administration's objectives. He tasked the new party faithful with accountability and achieving election victories.

Hon. Anagor applauded the impactful achievements of the Prof Chukwuma Soludo-led administration in the State, acknowledging the Governor's exceptional love for the Awka Capital Territory. He highlighted the transformation of Awka South Local Government with ongoing projects undertaken by the APGA-led administration.

                    

Former Awka South Local Government Chairman, Hon. Jakpo Ekene Okoye, emphasized his belief in the progress of Awka South and the spirit of "onye aghana nwanne ya" that unites the party and the present administration. He urged party faithful to continue supporting Governor Soludo in delivering the dividends of democracy to Ndi Anambra.

                       

APGA Awka South Local Government Chairman, Barr. Chinedu Lawrence, commended ASWAMA MD, Mr. Mike Ozoemena, for organizing the meeting, stating that it has helped attract more passionate party faithfuls in the council area. He called on ward executives and leaders to adopt Awka Ward Two's strategic approach to make the party a model for others.

In separate remarks, the former APGA, Awka Ward Two Chairman, Chief Augustine Onyeachonam, thanked the party for immense support during his tenure. He called for a more united front ahead of the upcoming governorship polls for the party's success.

                               

Hon. Emmanuel Chisom from Amudo Village expressed his happiness to be a member of the party and pledged to contribute to the state's growth and development. He commended Governor Soludo for changing the political landscape in Anambra.

                     

Earlier in his welcome address, the APGA Awka Ward Two Chairman, Hon. Gideon Kenechukwu Onyechi, thanked attendees and the Anambra State Governor through the Awka South Mayor for their contributions to Awka South Council Area. He called on other stakeholders to join the party. Former Awka South Women Leader, Mrs. Ifeoma Egwu, and Hon. Nweke Ugochukwu Michael, Hon. Chigbo Henry Okechukwu, and other stakeholders were also present at the meeting.
