In a deliberate effort to bolster the influence of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Anambra state and to garner further support for Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo's second term bid, the Soludo Volunteer Force (SVF) has been launched, with a critical Working Committee appointed.

The launch of this new group was announced during a strategic stakeholders meeting held at the residence of Chief Mike Ozoemena in Umuzocha, Awka South Council Area.

The group aims to represent and promote good governance, transparency, accountability, and effective leadership under Governor Soludo in Anambra state. In his welcome address, the Convener of the Soludo Volunteer Force (SVF), Mr. Mike Ozoemena, expressed gratitude to the stakeholders for their presence and outlined the objectives of the movement.

He emphasized that the SVF is dedicated to empowering resilient individuals to actively participate in decision-making processes, drive positive change, and foster inclusive governance in Anambra state.

Mr. Ozoemena stressed the importance of unity and cohesion within the group and underscored the need to establish a solid structure across all 21 local government areas. He emphasized that a robust grassroots structure is essential for effective mobilization and success during campaigns and elections.

Highlighting that the movement goes beyond mere political support, Mr. Ozoemena outlined its ideologies, which aim to equip and reorient volunteers and Anambra citizens with the essential traits necessary to support Governor Soludo's administration effectively. He enumerated the Governor's profound commitment to critical sectors and urged members to advocate for the ideals of good governance.

Addressing the gathering, the newly appointed Anambra North Zonal Coordinator, Hon. Anthony A. Nwakaeze, expressed optimism about the group's formation, noting its significance in building a stronger relationship with the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the state.

He urged members to be proactive in their roles to maximize impact. Hon. Nwakaeze also recognized the crucial role of ward coordinators in mobilizing support for the group and APGA. He encouraged members to strategize effectively to continue mobilizing support and fostering unity among volunteers and party faithful.

Additionally, Prince Angel Nwachukwu urged members to prioritize service over immediate gains and emphasized the rewards of hard work and dedication. He reiterated the reasons for the movement's formation and stressed the importance of consistently supporting Governor Soludo as a source of inspiration.

In their remarks, notable grassroots mobilizers, such as Mr. Andrew Nwachukwu Ofokansi from Oyi Local Government, and other key stakeholders from Awka South Council Area, including Nze Yahweh N. Okoye, emphasized the importance of engaging zealous individuals to promote Governor Soludo's achievements. They urged the leadership to expedite the necessary steps for the group's registration and functionality.

Ozor Igwe Raphael Uchenna, a prominent figure in the People's Democratic Party (PDP) from Amansea, praised Governor Soludo's actions matching his words. He pledged full cooperation and support while promising to facilitate a seamless relationship between his community and the Soludo administration to enhance the group's success.

He highlighted some of the Governor's notable achievements within two years in office and appealed for further development projects in Awka North communities.
