The visit was motivated by the significant developmental strides achieved by Governor Soludo's administration through the Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA), led by Hon. Ossy Onuko.

The leader of the delegation, Chief Fidelis Nwokike (Ojemba Awka), disclosed during the event on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at the ACTDA office in Awka that it was a solidarity visit to their illustrious son from Umudioka who has done and continues to do exceptionally well in ensuring that the Solution mantra reaches its peak in the state.

He noted that posterity would judge the ACTDA boss favorably due to his humanistic approach to leadership.

In his remarks, Chief Emmanuel Obuora Nwabueze (Obuewlu) extolled Gov. Chukwuma Soludo for his significant strides in road construction across various communities in Awka.

He noted that the road construction and the building of the world-class recreation center in Awka would change the economic fortunes of the people.

Commending the Governor for infrastructural developments, Chief Nwabueze urged the government to continue with the construction and dualization of key roads that would transform the fortunes of the town.

Welcoming the delegation, the ACTDA MD/CEO, Mr. Ossy Onuko, appreciated them for coming and clearly disclosed the new smart megacity - Awka 2.0 - that was coming up.

He maintained that the benefits of the project, when completed, would be enormous as it would make the city greener and spur massive economic growth across the state.

The ACTDA boss, while assuring them of Gov. Soludo's determination in making Awka a befitting capital city it deserves, pledged more undiluted support to ensure that Governor Soludo's good work continues beyond 2025.
