Senator Uche Ekwunife, Director General of the South East Governors Forum, in fulfillment of a pledge made following the 2023 general elections, has taken a commendable step to address mobility challenges faced by the church.

Senator Uche Ekwunife procured and personally delivered a state-of-the-art, multi-million naira 14-seater vehicle to the Catholic Women Organization of St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Nri, Anaocha local government area of Anambra state to facilitate a more impactful and widespread dissemination of the gospel message and to draw more souls to the Most High God.

This philanthropic act underscores Senator Ekwunife's acknowledgment of the crucial role played by the Catholic Women Organization in fostering community cohesion and advancing spiritual and social welfare.

The presentation of the gift to CWO president Ezinne Mrs. Anthonia Onuorah occurred shortly after a mass presided over by Rev’d Father Prof Clement Ezeka. The Reverend expressed gratitude, offered prayers for Senator Ekwunife, and other leaders nationwide, recognizing their contributions to peaceful coexistence and economic stability.

During the gift presentation, Senator Ekwunife urged the congregation and Christians nationwide to pray for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other leaders overseeing government institutions. She emphasized that with effective leadership, the citizenry stands to benefit greatly.

This act of generosity distinguishes Senator Uche Ekwunife from contemporary politicians, highlighting a relationship with society that goes beyond political advantage.
