the insightful homily delivered by Rev. Fr. Obinna Nwafor, who transcended the conventional definition of marriage. Fr. Nwafor painted
marriage not merely as a social contract but as a captivating journey where
love, commitment, and shared dreams weave the fabric of meaningful life
moments. His eloquence adorned the concept of marriage with profound beauty,
emphasizing the significance of companionship, mutual understanding, and the
sacred bond that intertwines two souls.
He stressed the imperative to
uphold the sanctity of marriage, urging couples to cherish and protect the
divine covenant they entered into. According to the priest, maintaining the
sanctity of marriage involves fostering love, respect, and unwavering

Fr. Nwafor imparted valuable
wisdom to the newlywed couple. He advised them to nurture a bond based on love,
trust, and mutual respect, encouraging them to embrace the spiritual dimensions

In his counsel to the bride, he
emphasized the traditional role of the husband as the head of the home and
urged the bride to recognize and appreciate this role, advising her to accord
the husband the respect that comes with it.

groom, Nnaemeka Nwele, Fr. Nwafor highlighted the significance of respect and
patience in marriage. He emphasized that a patient man holds the key to
harmonious living with his wife, underlining the importance of understanding and
mutual respect in the marital journey.

bride, Callista, expressed her admiration for her husband, citing

Mrs. Elizabeth Nwele, the

embark on the journey of marriage with their chosen life partner.

Nnaemeka Emmanuel Nwele, a

serves as the Umuchukwu Youth Leader, Provost of the Youth Wing of ASATU,
Welfare Secretary of APGA in Orumba South, and Assistant Secretary General for
the Umuchukwu Progressive Union, Nnaemeka actively contributes to the advancement
and unity of the community.
