Ghanaian journalists didn’t have it easy with their football team after drawing their last group game against Mozambique to get knocked out of the ongoing AFCON 2023 in Cote d’Ivoire.
The Black Stars threw away a
two-goal lead, allowing Mozambique to equalize in the 90th minute, conceding 2
goals in 3 minutes, thereby ending their hopes of making it to the knockout
stages.
Cape Verde and Egypt booked
their places in the next round as Group B came to a dramatic end.
After the match, Ghanaian
journalists blocked the Black Stars team bus from leaving the stadium, which
later needed the intervention of CAF security agents.
