Dr. Madubuko Denies Crisis In Anambra Revenue House, Labels Accuser As Rumour-Monger

In response to recent allegations made by Comrade Osita Obi, Dr. Christian Madubuko, the Executive Director in charge of Operations at the Anambra State Internal Revenue Service, has vehemently refuted the claims of a crisis within the Revenue House. He went on to label Osita Obi as a "rumor-monger" and firmly asserted that the Revenue House is functioning smoothly.

In an exclusive interview with this reporter, Dr. Madubuko addressed the accusations and dismissed them outright. He maintained that there has been no crisis within the Revenue House, and all Executive Directors report directly to the Chairman of the Board.

Dr. Madubuko did not mince words when referring to Osita Obi, stating, "I consider him a rumor-monger, and I am holding him accountable for his baseless and damaging rumors. His unsubstantiated claims bear a striking resemblance to the unpleasant stench emanating from a public latrine."

Furthermore, Dr. Madubuko deemed Osita Obi's insinuations as callous and ignorant. He contended that Osita Obi lacks the necessary understanding of revenue generation, making his accusations unwarranted and uninformed.

He emphasized, "Individuals like Osita Obi are the ones who irresponsibly spread the false notion of a crisis within the Revenue House. Let me be unequivocal: there is no such crisis. We have a Chairman, Dr. Greg Ezeilo, and all Executive Directors are answerable to him. There are no internal disputes or conflicts to speak of."

Dr. Madubuko went on to address the suggestion that Governor Soludo's decision to establish Executive Director positions was a mistake. He firmly disagreed with this viewpoint, stating, "Governor Soludo's decision to create the Executive Directorship office is a strategic move to enhance the state's revenue generation. I regard any criticism in this regard as utterly senseless. It is unwarranted to drag the Governor or any Executive Director into unwarranted controversies."

Dr. Madubuko emphasized the unity and harmony within the Revenue House, pointing out that the recent elevation of one of their own to the position of Chairman, Dr. Greg Ezeilo, exemplifies their commitment to collaborative work aimed at advancing the state's revenue generation efforts.

Dr. Madubuko urged individuals to speak based on factual knowledge and refrain from making unwarranted claims that could create unnecessary conflicts. His assertion is that there is no crisis within the Revenue House, and the team is focused on their collective mission of bolstering the state's revenue generation.
