Anambra State Government Reiterates Directive On Tenant Documentation Fees

Security of any society is paramount to its well-being. Peace is an endangered species, the effort we make in establishing its presence better for society. 

 

 Anambra State Commandant, Anti-Conflict and Peacekeeping Command, (ACPC), Commandant Eugene Nwabieze stated this at the command's meeting cum training, recently held at the Obosi Head office of South East region.

 

 Speaking on  the background of the mitigating security issues ravaging the country, Commandant Nwabieze said the command seeks partnership with the state government on security, peace, and conflict resolution to curb insecurity in the state.

 

Commending Gov. Chukwuma Soludo for his developmental projects and fight against insecurity, he said: “We are looking forward to meeting Gov. Soludo to proffer solutions to the challenges of insecurity in the state.

 

“We are also worried by the persistent community clashes and invasion of villages currently being experienced in some parts of the country. There is an urgent need now to strengthen and beef up security to assist the people of the state to strategise.”

 

Commandant Isaac Ibanga of the Abuja Headquarters reminded  the state command of its utmost responsibility on security, anti-conflict resolutions and prayed for peace to prevail in the country.

“Let peace prevail for it is cheaper than the cost of arms and weapons used in prosecuting wars that wastes lives of innocent people,'' he said.

 

 An officer of the command, Uchenna Nkemelu urged the government to implement unity and security in the politics of the federation to aid in peaceful agenda in the country's political policy.

 

Other officers at the event Theophilus Igwe, Patrick Ugwu, Christian Iliuno,  and Oforkansi Arinze among others.
