Hazel Onou also known as White Money, the winner of the sixth edition of Big Brother Naija reality show, is reportedly planning to sue the show's organisers and sponsor for defaulting on their contractual agreement.
According to reports, the Enugu-born businessman won a 2-bedroom
flat during the show, which was supposed to be furnished with the best home
appliances, courtesy of Revolution Plus and Scanfrost. However, the organisers
have allegedly failed to hand over the keys to the house to White Money, which
has left him with no other option but to take legal action.
In a recent question and answer session with
fans on his Instagram story, White Money confirmed his plans to sue the
sponsors and organisers of the show. A concerned fan had suggested that he
should ensure the real estate company posts a video of the house presentation
online for everyone to see. The singer replied, "I am definitely going to
sue them. They think it's a joke. They are owing me a lot of things."
White Money's intention to take legal action
against the organisers and sponsor of the show has raised concerns among fans
and followers of the reality star. Many have taken to social media to express
their support for the singer and called on the organisers to fulfil their
contractual obligations to him.
The BBNaija reality show has become
increasingly popular in Nigeria and other African countries, with millions of
viewers tuning in to watch the drama unfold. However, the show has also been
criticised for its controversial content and alleged breach of contract with
contestants. It remains to be seen how the organisers will respond to White
Money's legal action, and whether they will honour their contractual
obligations to the reality star.
